Silver Brumby Hut
Silver Brumby Hut is a backcountry hut associated with Mount Hotham Alpine Resort Management Board, in the Plains of Heaven area on Swindler’s Creek. It was built as a film set prop for The Silver Brumby, and a present-day replica replaced the original, with a rebuild in the mid-to-late 2000s.
For access planning, this hut sits on the route used by The Huts Walk, which links historic huts around Hotham; the Silver Brumby Hut can be reached via the Davenport Access Track and then the Blue Ribbon Track that follows Swindler’s Creek.
