Split Beaver

Split Beaver is a trad-focused crag in the Smoke Bluffs of Squamish, British Columbia, with 12 routes ranging from 5.8 to 5.11d. The area lies within Smoke Bluffs Park and is part of a compact network of granite climbing sectors.

The namesake route, Split Beaver, is a 30 m trad climb graded 5.10b and recognized as a classic Smoke Bluffs line. It starts with a short boulder problem, then follows a crack that gradually widens toward the top.

Approach access connects with the Viewpoint Trail, which was extended through Split Beaver, Pink Cliff, and Fern Gully. Smoke Bluffs access guidance also calls for quiet near nearby homes, prohibits anchoring from fences or hydro towers, and notes that some cliffs are on private land and closed.
