Stag Flat Shelter

Stag Flat Shelter is a basic 2-bunk hut run by the Department of Conservation in Kahurangi National Park (Nelson/Tasman). It’s set up for backcountry trips with first come, first served use and no bookings required, and there are pit latrines available on site. Use is free, and it has untreated drinking water and a mattress provided; no fireplace is provided.
