Station Hut

Station Hut is a private backcountry hut at Glen Lyon Station in Canterbury’s Dobson Valley. It has 8 bunks and includes bunks with mattresses, cooking gear, and a toilet; a closed fire/wood stove is provided for heat and cooking.

Use is by permission, and advance booking/arrangement is required to visit. To sleep in the hut, bring your own food and cooking supplies; the hut access is remote and typically approached by a long walk or by 4WD across farmland and riverbeds.
