Sunshine Flat Shelter

Sunshine Flat Shelter is a free, non-bookable first-come-first-served backcountry shelter in Kahurangi National Park, set along the Ōpārara-Fenian Track corridor near the Ōpārara Basin on the West Coast of the South Island. It’s used as a tramp turnaround option on the Ōpārara Valley Track and also ties into walks coming out of the Fenian side.
