The Asylum

The Asylum is a compact sport-climbing cliff in Cheakamus Canyon near Squamish, with four routes on granite reaching about 18 m. It forms part of the broader Cheakamus Canyon climbing area, which is predominantly sport climbing.

Approach the crag from the Conroy Creek Forest Service Road. The road may be active for logging year-round, so park with enough room for traffic to pass. Most walls in Cheakamus Canyon receive afternoon shade, a useful consideration when planning a session.
