The Courtyard

The Courtyard is a granite sport-climbing crag in Crumpit Woods, Squamish, with 16 recorded single-pitch routes. Its southeast-facing wall combines a solid face with crimps and overhanging sections, and the route list spans 5.5 to 5.12a. Lines range from 12 to 18 metres.

The easier end includes Kyes Five (5.5), Mr Tree (5.7), and Cyanide and Almonds (5.8); harder options include The Motivator (5.11d) and The Wreck Centre (5.12a). The Courtyard lies before the Swamp Thing boulder when approaching through Crumpit Woods. Inspect committed features before climbing, and allow the granite and approach to dry after wet weather.
