The Crest

The Crest is a granite sport-climbing cliff in Cheakamus Canyon, with 14 routes ranging from US 5.8 to 5.12c. Most climbs are single-pitch; one route continues for two pitches, and listed route lengths run from 15 to 40 metres.

From the parking lot, continue up the road and take the short trail on the left where the road levels out; the cliff is visible from the trail and the approach takes less than five minutes. Several of the first routes start from a ledge about 10 metres above the base, reached either by climbing the first pitch of Master Of My Domain or by traversing in from the left.

Master Of My Domain is a two-pitch 5.9 line totalling about 40 metres, with a 5.7 first pitch and 5.9 second pitch. Serenity Now is a 5.10c sport climb of about 16 metres; although equipped as two short pitches, it can be climbed as one pitch.
