The Penthouse

The Penthouse is a west-facing cliff near the summit of South Chief in Squamish, set in an airy position with a collection of face climbs. The area is described as offering sport climbing with a view.

The climbing begins on a long ledge system extending from the top of the Roman Chimneys south toward the Backside Trail. The Backside Trail provides the approach to The Penthouse; one documented climb in the area, Mr. Ciechanowski, is rated 5.10a.
