The River
The River, also called The River Sector, is a small climbing sector with only a few routes. The wall faces northwest and supports both sport and traditional climbing.
Access begins at the main wall: travel climber’s right to fixed lines, then cross a steep gully equipped with additional fixed lines to reach the River wall. Treat this approach as exposed scrambling rather than a simple walk-in.
Peri Peri Crack is a 5.11a trad route established by Tom Wright on May 26, 2017. It follows a thin seam with delicate gear low on the line before widening above a small roof; the topo recommends a 000 C3 and small RPs.
Lox Stalk and Two Smolt on Bagels is another documented line in the sector, graded 5.12-. The sector’s limited route count makes it best suited to climbers targeting these specific lines rather than those seeking a large spread of options.
