The Sheriff's Badge

The Sheriff's Badge is a badge-shaped formation on the North Walls of the Stawamus Chief in Squamish, with several notable multi-pitch lines reaching its upper features.

The area includes Angel's Crest, a 13-pitch 5.10b route following the left edge of the buttress, with slab, crack, corner, offwidth, and chimney climbing. The full Daily Planet–Daily Universe line runs for nine pitches through overhanging blocks, corners, and cracks to the apex; Daily Universe adds five pitches at 5.12b. Dragon Crack provides a two-pitch 5.11d start just right of Borderline and links into harder starts for Daily Planet.

Approaches to the Badge routes begin from the climbers' parking area near the Mamquam Forest Service Road; the access trail is reached after roughly 1.5 km along the road. Bouldering is also found at the base, including the Sheriff's Badge Boulders area.
