The Suburb

The Suburb is a small, south-facing trad crag in Cheakamus Canyon, on the north side of the approach to Star Chek. It sits east of the Cheakamus River below Highway 99, where the canyon begins to narrow.

From the parking area, follow the trail downhill and continue through the narrowing canyon; the crag is roughly five minutes from the highway, with boulder hopping on the approach. The sector has two documented climbs: Magic T (5.10d) and Nine Inch Rage Against Jane’s Tool (5.8).
