The Wave Machine Wall

The Wave Machine Wall is a sport-climbing wall in the Cheakamus Valley/Chek Canyon area of British Columbia. Lines begin with a short section of loose climbing before reaching a ledge that traverses the face; three shared starts provide access to the routes above.

The wall includes several sustained lines. Wave Machine (5.12b, 13 bolts) climbs a long, steep face with continuous movement to the anchors. Surf Park (5.12a, 10 bolts) follows the right-hand line from the ledge and builds toward a distinct crux below the chains. Other documented routes include Tessellation (5.12a, 10 bolts), Zut Alors (5.11c, 11 bolts), and Chicken Joe (5.11a, 10 bolts).

Wave Machine and Surf Park were first climbed by Toby Foord-Kelcey in May 2020. Chicken Joe and Tessellation were established in June 2020, while Zut Alors was first climbed in September 2020.
