Traverse Wall

Traverse Wall is a granite bouldering area in Murrin Park, Squamish, centered on a large boulder beside the main trail at the south end of the parking lot. The rock sits roughly 10 feet from the lot, making this an unusually short approach for a bouldering venue.

A crack runs across the boulder and provides the defining traverse line. The area has 19 listed problems ranging from US V0− to V5, including Carmel at V2 and Goo Traverse at V3; Goo Traverse continues from Carmel across the wall for about 15 m. The Silver Dollar Arête is the hardest listed problem at V5, with a first ascent credited to Brooke Sandahl in 1990.
