Tristram Harper Memorial Shelter

Tristram Harper Memorial Shelter is a Department of Conservation backcountry hut in the Little Mount Peel / Mount Peel area (Peel Forest Park, South Canterbury). It’s used as a stop for people tramping through this DOC track network, and regular visitors have been involved over time in keeping parts of the approach infrastructure in working order (including work around boardwalk sections above the bushline).
