Upper Toropapa Hut

Upper Toropapa Hut is a backcountry wilderness hut in the central Ahimanawa Range (Hawke’s Bay, near Hastings), at about 833 m elevation. It sits in the same inland hut network as other shelters in the Ahimanawas.

Access can be affected by private hunting-lease arrangements in the wider central Ahimanawa area, so plan around who controls entry to specific blocks when you’re heading in.
