Veil Bivouac

Veil Bivouac is a backcountry hut in the Rangitata and Rakaia Rivers area (Canterbury), run by the Department of Conservation. It’s a basic two-bunk hut in the Mid and South Canterbury region, with no DOC track access—so you’ll need to plan and navigate on your own using map, compass, and GPS.
