Well of Souls

Well of Souls is a compact granite sport-climbing cliff in Cheakamus Canyon near Squamish, British Columbia. The area has nine listed routes, with grades ranging from 5.8 to 5.13a, making it suitable for climbers looking for short, single-pitch objectives across a broad difficulty spread.

Approach from the sign for “The Big Show,” crossing the large boulders to the sign above the boulder field. Enter on the left and descend through the slot between two large boulders to reach the routes, which sit partly out of sight beneath the rock. Individual climbs are about 10 m long; examples include We Meet Again, Fraulein at 5.9, A Stab In The Dark at 5.10b, Bad Dates at 5.10d, and Timber Queen at 5.12c.
