Whirring Wall
Whirring Wall is a west-facing granite slab in the Gondola Crags, behind the top station of the Sea to Sky Gondola. The wall has mostly sport climbing, with well-bolted lines in the 5.7–5.11d range; the area page gives 9 routes and a maximum height of 22 m.
Reach the crags by taking the gondola to the summit, then allow roughly 10–20 minutes on generally flat or gently sloping terrain to the climbing areas. A back-road option uses about 9 km of rough forest service road followed by a 1.3 km walk; that drive requires a 4x4 or high-clearance AWD vehicle. Camping and fires are not allowed, and visitors are asked to pack out all waste, including biological waste.
