Zoe
Zoë is a compact granite crag in Murrin Park, Squamish, with nine routes ranging from 5.8 to 5.12b. The area is predominantly sport climbing, with one mixed trad line, In the Firing Line, at 5.10c and 26 m.
The namesake Zoë is the area classic: a 25 m, 5.10a sport climb protected by seven bolts. Expect sustained, thoughtful movement, a high first bolt, and glacier-polished rock near the chains. Other notable lines include Oscar’s Slab at 5.8, Staples of the Gluten Intolerant at 5.10b, Jeff and the Giant Reach at 5.11c, Restless at 5.12a, and Breathe at 5.12b.
The approach is short, with a picnic table at the base. The crag sits within Murrin Park’s broader granite climbing complex, where east-facing cliffs provide afternoon shade on hot days.
