Use is free on a first-come, first-served basis with the first-come, first-served 10-bed capacity. Canterbury Mountaineering Club members have free use; non-members need to follow the payment method and fees shown by the Canterbury Mountaineering Club. Backcountry Hut Passes and Backcountry Hut Tickets can’t be used here. A pit latrine is provided; drinking water is untreated. The hut’s mountain radio is no longer monitored—carry a PLB for emergency communication.
