Bergerie de Bianca

Bergerie de Bianca is a small, unmanaged backcountry refuge in Corsica (a stone bergerie), used as an open-door shelter with no on-site caretaker. Expect free use on a first-come, first-served basis, with limited sleeping capacity.

Inside the lower bergerie are basic furnished provisions: 4 thick foam mattresses, a table, and 4 chairs, plus some non-expired dishware and canned goods. The shelter is also having a stove, while there is no fireplace provided.

Water is available nearby from a source (“Source de Bianca”): a running outlet is positioned right in front of the second (lower) bergerie when descending from Bocca di Bianca. Nearby lay another point of water on the same general area, including additional sources around the bergeries.
