Castel De Vergio

Castel De Vergio is a backcountry-style stop on Corsica’s GR20 at about 1,400 m elevation near Col de Vergio, functioning as a key midpoint between Refuge de Tighiettu and Refuge de Manganu. It sits at the crossroads of the GR20 and the Mare e Mare Nord, with GR20 hikers often using it as an in-between place to break up a long stage.
