Chateau Rotary Cabin

Chateau Rotary Cabin (also known as A-branch Cabin) is a backcountry cabin in the Knuckleheads Range north of Lois Lake near Powell River, BC, used for hiking, ski touring, and snowshoeing. It’s part of a small group of cabins in the area: Vic Cole Lodge, E-Branch Cabin, and A-Branch Cabin (Chateau Rotary Cabin).

The cabin is operated by the Knuckleheads Winter Recreation Association and is first-come, first-served—no booking system is described. Use is free; a suggested donation of $10 per person per day is welcomed. The cabin is insulated, and as of March 2018 it did not have a pellet stove.
