Confederation Lake Hut

Confederation Lake Hut is a fully enclosed, winterized backcountry hut on the Sunshine Coast Trail operated by PR Paws. It sleeps 10 and is set on the shore of a fish-bearing lake, with a pellet stove inside. Amenities include an outhouse, picnic table, and a fire pit.

Access is via Inland Lake Park north of Powell River, with the hut reached after turning off onto Confederation Lake Trail and climbing through to the lake area; the approach includes a steep section and then undulating travel along the shore toward the hut. The original hut was replaced in fall 2016 with the current enclosed cabin.
