Elk Lake Cabin
Elk Lake Cabin is a backcountry hut on the Sunshine Coast Trail, sleeping up to 10 people. It’s a partially open shelter with an outhouse and a sleeping loft, and it’s set right at the edge of Elk Lake, where there’s a swimming dock in warm months.
Expect basic hut comforts: picnic tables, a fire pit, and a cook/sleep setup geared to hut-to-hut hikers. The area is also used in winter—Elk Lake is a snowshoe destination when conditions are right, and blueberries are common late in the season.
