Chimney Creek Hut

Chimney Creek Hut is a Department of Conservation backcountry hut located in Oteake Conservation Park. It’s a basic hut used for overnight tramping in the Mount Ida Conservation Area network.

Bookings aren’t required; use is first come, first served. The hut is reached by turning off the Johnstones Creek 4WD Track to get to Chimney Creek Hut.
