Cope Saddle Hut

Cope Saddle Hut is a backcountry hut on the Bogong High Plains in Victoria, located within Alpine National Park. It’s on the Australian Alps Walking Track and is used as an overnight shelter by walkers, and by cross-country skiers in winter high-country conditions.

The hut sits on/near the Cope Saddle area along the Pretty Valley Track and the approach can be done as an out-and-back overnight hike from the Pretty Valley Pondage carpark. Facilities at the site include the hut, a designated camping area, and a drop toilet.
