Cromel Branch Hut

Cromel Branch Hut is a basic four-bunk hut run by the Department of Conservation, located in Eyre Mountains/Taka Rā Haka Conservation Park (Southland). It’s a first-come, first-served backcountry stop, with no bookings required.

Inside the hut there are mattresses, and it also has a fireplace. Toilet facilities are provided as a pit latrine; there is no drinking water available at the hut.
