Dillons Homestead Hut

Dillons Homestead Hut is a basic DOC backcountry hut in the Kelly Range–Styx River area (West Coast). It has 5 bunk beds and is designed for short stays in the Hokitika area; use is free and no bookings are required—stays are first come, first served.

The hut includes a mattress and a fireplace, plus toilets with pit latrine disposal. Drinking water is untreated, so treat water before drinking.
