Favalta

Favalta is a primitive, free-use backcountry shelter in Corsica on the Monte San Petrone trail network. It’s an unstaffed emergency shelter/bivouac-style stop, so plan to carry your own supplies and use it on a first-come, first-served basis rather than expecting staffed hut services.

The hut is associated with the Monte San Petrone massif (around 1,365 m elevation) and sits a short distance from the summit on routes in the area. As with other unstaffed shelters, treat it as an optional safety/overnight backup rather than a bookable lodging option.
