Fiddlehead Landing Hut

Fiddlehead Landing Hut is a backcountry hut on the Sunshine Coast Trail, perched on the shore of Powell Lake on the Powell Forest Canoe Route. Built in 2012 by PRPAWS and the Powell River Rotary Club, it’s an open shelter with an enclosed sleeping loft that sleeps 6. Amenities include an outhouse, picnic tables, a fire pit, and a swimming dock.

Access is fastest by boat to Powell Lake, with transport offered by Justin Behan from Powell Lake Marina to Fiddlehead Landing (and pickup from there). From the hut, you can connect to nearby Sunshine Coast Trail sections and other hut-to-hut options at Confederation Lake and Tin Hat Mountain.
