Frisco Hut

Frisco Hut is a basic four-bunk backcountry hut in the Kokatahi River–Whitcombe River area on the West Coast, run by the Department of Conservation. It’s set up for first come, first served use, with bookings not required.

The hut provides sleeping with mattresses, and it has toilets using a pit latrine disposal. No fireplace is provided, and there is no drinking water available at the hut.
