Fukushima

Fukushima is a bouldering area in British Columbia’s West Kootenay region, above Arrow Lake. The area includes two large boulders in ponderosa forest and is known for substantial lines; it is also a stopping point on the way to the Range boulders.

The approach takes about 15 minutes from the car. The trail passes Ponderosa Boulder, crosses a small creek, then turns uphill toward Fukushima. Parking is at the trailhead along the road rather than in the Gun Club’s small parking area; stay on the established trail through the area.
