Marauiti Hut

Marauiti Hut is a Department of Conservation backcountry hut in the Te Urewera area, located on the Waikaremoana Track. The hut provides sleeping for up to 26 people, and use is by booking Great Walks huts and campsites online (this hut is not eligible for Backcountry Hut Passes or Backcountry Hut Tickets).

Inside, the hut is set up for sleeping with mattresses provided, with a fireplace and toilets with pit latrine disposal. Water is untreated, so treat it before drinking.
