Moa Hut Camp is a hut-style backcountry stay set on Mount Cook Station’s working farm in New Zealand’s Mackenzie Basin, among deer and cattle on the southern side of the Jollie River. Access to the camp involves opening and closing three farm gates, and it’s set up for campers arriving by road rather than a remote foot approach.
