Old Basins Hut

Old Basins Hut is a basic five-bunk backcountry hut managed by the Department of Conservation in Craigieburn Forest Park (Canterbury, North Canterbury and Arthur’s Pass area). It’s a first come, first served hut with no bookings required, and it has a fireplace and pit latrine toilets. Use is free.
