Page Memorial Shelter

Page Memorial Shelter is a day-use shelter in Temple Basin at Arthur’s Pass National Park, set in the Downhill Basin area of the Temple Basin Ski Area. It’s used as a basic refuge for hikers and skiers during the day rather than as an overnight hut.

The shelter has a toilet and a water source that collects water from the roof into a tank. It operates on a first-come, first-served basis for day use, and there are restrictions around night stays: it’s not intended for overnight accommodation, and overnight use isn’t encouraged even if it isn’t strictly prohibited.
