Polluck Creek Hut

Polluck Creek Hut is a basic six-bunk DOC hut in the Mikonui River–Kakapotahi River area of the West Coast (Hokitika area). It’s a first-come, first-served hut (no bookings required).

Use is free. The hut has a fireplace, sleeping gear (mattresses), and toilets with pit latrine disposal. It’s reached via a route that’s no longer maintained by DOC; expect it to receive only sporadic maintenance from Permolat.
