Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Center

Powell Lake Outdoor Learning Center is a group-oriented backcountry-style learning centre on the Upper Sunshine Coast near Powell River, operating at Haywire Bay on Powell Lake. It includes 5 bunk house cabins that are suitable for groups, plus other accommodation options on-site.

Cabins are available year-round. The 5 Bunk House cabins each sleep up to 12 people; bedding is not supplied for the bunk houses, and minimum-stay rules apply for cabin rentals. Use is arranged by contacting the centre administration to set up a reservation request for your group; rates for bunk houses run $420.00–$490.00 per night per cabin with an additional $250.00 cleaning fee per cabin, plus applicable taxes/processing fees.
