Refuge d'E Capanelle

Refuge d'E Capanelle is a backcountry mountain hut in Corsica’s Parc Naturel Régional de Corse, set above Ghisoni on the Monte Renoso massif along the GR20. The hut stands at about 1,642 m and offers 16 sleeping places, serving GR20 hikers with unguarded, non-bookable overnight use.

Because it is not staffed and does not take reservations, plan on sleeping on a first-come basis. It is open year-round; the refuge was partially rebuilt after a roof collapse in 2017.
