Refuge de l´Ortu di u Piobbu

Refuge de l´Ortu di u Piobbu is a backcountry hut in the Parc Naturel Régional de Corse on the GR20. The hut sits at 1520 m, and the official GR20 description places it as the endpoint of the GR20’s Stage 1 from Calenzana (one-way 6h30, return 5h), reached after the route begins at the San’Antone fountain and reaches the Ortu di u Piobbu refuge after 1520 m of ascent.

Use requires booking in this refuge. The GR20 guidance highlights that Stage 1’s last approach to Ortu di u Piobbu passes the Ortiventi fountain as the last water point before the refuge.
