Renata Hut

Renata Hut is a basic six-bunk Department of Conservation backcountry hut in Tararua Forest Park (Wellington/Kapiti region). It’s a free, first-come, first-served hut with a fireplace and no mattresses provided, so bring your own sleeping system. Water is untreated, and the hut has a pit latrine toilet (no drinking-water treatment).
