Ropers Hut

Ropers Hut is a backcountry wilderness hut in Australia’s Alpine National Park. Access is on foot only via the Australian Alps walking track, with no vehicle access.

The hut is set up for use by hikers who are willing to carry their own setup; wood fires are supported via a fireplace. It’s used as a refuge hut and is not tied to a booking requirement in the information currently available here, so plan for first-come, first-served use and be ready to sleep in a tent if the hut is full.
