Stronach Hut

Stronach Hut is a privately managed pastoral-lease wilderness hut near Waikaia in Southland/Otago, New Zealand. Because it sits on private land, it does not use the public DOC hut booking system.

For overnight stays, contact the managers of the surrounding farmland (for example Argyle Station) to arrange access and reservations. Booking through third-party accommodation listings may also appear under the name “Stronach Hut,” but stays are still handled by the land managers.
