Supper Cove Hut
Supper Cove Hut is a standard 12-bunk backcountry hut in western Fiordland, set within Fiordland National Park and the Southern fiords area. It’s run by the Department of Conservation and is accessed via the Dusky Track or by boat via Tamatea/Dusky Sound.
Use is first come, first served with no standard bookings required. To stay overnight, buy a Standard Hut Ticket (blue for adults, yellow for youth) for each night and place it in the honesty box at the hut; a Backcountry Hut Pass provides unlimited use at most Standard and Serviced huts for 12 months. Fees are $10 per night for adults (18+), $5 per night for youth (5–17), and free for children/infants (0–4). Water is untreated and there’s a pit latrine toilet; the hut also has mattresses and a fireplace.
