Thor Emergency Shelter

Thor Emergency Shelter is a basic backcountry cabin-style shelter operated by Parks Canada in Auyuittuq National Park (Baffin Island, Nunavut). It’s intended for emergency use during severe Arctic weather or polar-bear encounters, and you can’t reserve it in advance—overnight plans should assume wilderness camping rather than shelter bookings.
