Townsend Hut

Townsend Hut is a basic four-bunk backcountry hut in Arthur’s Pass National Park, managed by the Department of Conservation. Use is free and no bookings are required—it's first come, first served. The hut has mattresses and a pit latrine for toilets; drinking water is untreated.
