Westons Hut
Westons Hut is a remote backcountry shelter in Victoria’s Alpine National Park, used primarily as a simple emergency/temporary stop rather than a designated overnight accommodation. It’s a hike-in hut node on Westons Spur Track and is also reached from the Australian Alps Walking Track; the approach is about 0.6 km off the tracks.
The hut use follows first-come, first-served expectations, with visitors sharing the shelter space. Bring everything you’ll need, keep impacts low, and take your rubbish out—preparedness matters because this is a small, remote site where conditions can shift quickly.
