Ymir Boulders

Ymir Boulders is a granite bouldering area beside the Salmo River, just beyond Ymir, British Columbia. The rock is notably grippy, with soft landings and extensive shade—useful characteristics for warm-weather sessions.

The approach follows a flat rail trail and takes about 25 minutes from Nelson or 10 minutes from Salmo. The zone was first developed in 2013–14, then fully re-scrubbed by June 2025, uncovering many additional lines.
